Ubuntu like Mac

A lot of people think that Ubuntu is an ugly O.S. but that people are wrong cause Ubuntu can be so pretty as mac, or like windows, or whatever you want.

Well first of all we need to install a few things:
1. We have to deactivate Unity, and install a dock, my favourite dock is AWN, but there are more options;
sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator

Then we need to download the package theme of mac from gnome-look.org, you have a lot of themes if you don't like mac:

Wallpapers http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4326-mac-os-x-tiger-wallpapers/

Icons http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Meopard+mac+Theme?content=147309

Activate Emerald if you want to see the animations, or compiz-fusion, i installed the second one:

sudo apt-get install compiz-fusion
compiz-plugins
compiz-plugins-extra
compizconfig-settings-manager

It would be easier with compiz.

When you have everything of above done, you have to click on your desktop, with the right button and in theme install it with the files that we have downloaded.

When you have finished your Ubuntu will look like a Mac, for free.

If you have any doubt, write a comment. IN my next post I wil write how to change the grub menu.

When you install the theme, you should restart the computer.
