Games

A lot of people refuse to use Linux due to they think that there aren't games on linux, but theu're completely wrong. It has a long variety of games, since the classic "Space Invaders" to the "Counter Strike" or games with a high quality of graphics, and the most important, they are FREE. It's also truth that we can't compare both O.S., cause obviously, if you pay for a game, it must have a good quality of ideo, sound... 
We start:
 Regnum Online

It's MMORG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Game), It has a good quality of graphics, and if you have up-to-date your video driver, the quality improves. In the game there are three kingdoms:

           Ignis                                                         Alsius                                                    Sirtys         

You can choose one of them, create a character; a mage, an archer, or a soldier.



Freecol

It's similar to ROME Total War, but with bad graphics.




SuperTuxKart


The Classic CTR or MarioKart in Linux.

Install it in Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install supertuxkart

Good Graphics, it's similar to Age of Empires.

Istall it:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wfg/0ad
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install 0ad

Ultrastar Deluxe


SingStar on ubuntu, there are more games to sing, but this one it's my favourite.

Add repositories:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/tobydox/ultrastardx/ubuntu maverick main 
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/tobydox/ultrastardx/ubuntu maverick main 

it's possible that you have some problems with some packages of ultrastar, to solve this problem, run Y-PPA-Manager (In my other post, i say how to Install it), then you search for the package- dependence that is missing, and install it, then install ultrastar-deluxe.
If you have another ERROR message, run again Y-Ppa-manager, and add the GPG Key with:
Advanced>>Add GPG-Key.
